I have many things I’d like to do on this blog this year, and though I can’t share all of them (cause then you wouldn’t come back) I can tell you I’d like to do more video. So for my first one I talk about resolutions, 3 words and my 100 list. If you’ve got some ambitious goals for 2012, please make sure to share them in the comments or add a link to your post on resolutions. I’d love to hear them and offer support where I can, and ask for your support in return 🙂
Keep in mind this is my first video in a long time. I promise the quality and sound will get better as the year goes on, so stick with me.
If you’re interested in my running goals for 2012, you can find them here.
Also, just as I posted this I noticed that BlogHer has also done a story on the concept of 3 words, you might want to check it out.

I love videoing others, but its a big thing to put myself in front of the camera. Wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be.
What a beautiful sincere voice you have. I felt calm after I heard your resolutions. Thanks for sharing!

Loved the video, you just gave me an idea myself (I have been wanting to do more video on my blog as well!).
My three words are terribly cliche, but they are health, wealth and happiness.
I have two chronic diseases which brought me home from my well-paying teaching career (12 years!!) and have put my childbearing on a seemingly endless hiatus. (HEALTH)
Without my job and waiting for disability benefits approval, I have 0 income. I been living off of my savings which are nearly gone. (WEALTH)
My number one goal every morning, every minute of every day is to stay positive, no matter what. So far, with everything I’ve been through I’ve been sticking to it, but I worry more difficulty is ahead. (HAPPINESS)
And that’s how a cliche becomes more than a cliche… I couldn’t think of a better 3 words for 2012!

Not cliche at all! It’s great that you are fully aware of what you need to do to stay happy, healthy and positive. I wish you all of these things in 2012 and I hope that you will let me know when you have done a video, I’d love to see it.
What a great video 🙂 Thank you for sharing your resolutions. Best of luck on all your goals, and the running goals! The 3 words to live by is a great idea 🙂

Cheers, Brenna!
I also love the concept of three words to live by! I’m going to spend some time thinking about this, but I think mine could be Natural, Inspiring, and Open. Thanks for the food for thought!

Happy I gave you some food for thought. I think 3 words is a great concept and I hope it works for you too.
Thanks. This has really got me thinking. I’ll have to reflect on what my own 3 words would be. Happy New Year!
