Don’t you just hate when the kiddos are sick, but love all the extra kisses and cuddles you get? The other thing I hate is that we parents invariably end up with some sort of weakened immunity…Yep, that’s me this week, thanks to Little Miss being sick last week 🙁 Kids give so much…including their germs!

They do give everything! I have to admit though…I like all of the cuddles I get when my little one is not feeling well.

But sick cuddles are the best, especially when they’re older and won’t cuddle as much!
Sorry you’re sick – hope you can shake it quickly!

I’m so sorry to hear that you’re sick – I always end up sick with whatever my girls bring home (and often they get a mild case and I get a much more severe one…not sure how that happens). I do love the extra cuddles though!

For the very first time since I became a mother I was the one who got everyone else sick!! One day I had a low fever and then a cold…two days latter the entire Byrd household was sick 🙁 Oops

sorry to hear that you are sick…i pray that you will get better and also your little one.
You got sick? I didn’t know moms got sick! I think in my 32 years of life my mom was sick 3 times. She has the mommy gene and must have been super weak like you at the time.
My daughter has a knack for getting sick after being in the nursery at church. Then, she gives it to my husband, and then I eventually get the plague. Ick! Feel better soon, mama!
They certainly like to share their germs, don’t they? 🙂 Hope everyone in your household is feeling better soon!

That is so true, but I really enjoy it. I often think of kids who get sick with parents that do not really care. I feel so lucky to have my two little girls, even though I work, I want to be at home with them – even when I get frustrated with them. Thank you for this post – it puts things in perspective…
I love it when they are in the mood to hug and want to sit and just rock together that is the time i so enjoy usually it is in the evening when they are tired
