This week’s theme for Pretty on Pinterest is Quotes. I’ve been compiling heaps of quotes around fitness and exercise, particularly quotes related to running. I’m about to run my 3rd half marathon in less than 2 weeks – it will be my first since the baby. Hubby and I also decided to sign up to the Brooklyn Half Marathon this week. Registration opened Monday at noon and within 10 hours it was all sold out. I’m excited we got in, it will be epic to run in out own backyard, through the streets of Brooklyn and ending in Coney Island, by the beach…a cool swim will be in order.
So, when negative thoughts creep in, or I worry about not being at peak form, I can look at these quotes and remember all that matters is that I am out there doing something. Better than being on the couch, right?
