Prospect Park : My Favorite Park and a Chance at $1000

Prospect Park is fast becoming one of my fave spots so close to home. There is so much to see and so much to do there. I can’t wait til spring has sprung, I’m sure I’ll be there even more.

When people think of New York, they think concrete jungle so that is why I count myself lucky for having this massive playground within reach. It’s important for kids to be able to get out and about and feel the grass underneath them. So, that is why I think this park and others all over cities in the US are sooooo important. I’m dreaming up a way that I can put myself to good use with the help of $1000 from Kalso Earth Shoes and make a difference on Earth Day. Do you have a great earth day idea? It doesn’t have to be with your local park, that’s just my idea 🙂

This year, 3 online bloggers will have the opportunity to carry the spirit of the company’s annual service day into their own local communities. All you need to do is create your own Earth Day-related service project plan, create a post about your project online, and fill in all the details on the below application. Three lucky winners will be selected to each receive a $1000 Kalsø Earth Shoes “Project Earth Day Scholarship”.

If you plan on applying, let me know in the comments. Good Luck!

I have not in any way been compensated for this post. I just think it is a worthwhile project and so want to share.
